Yes. Every piece of information in Blümi is grounded in current research and aligned with respectful maternity care principles. We don't offer opinions, we offer informed options. We also cite our sources, so you can always read further if you want to.

We believe every birther deserves access to information in the language they're most comfortable in. French and Spanish versions are in the works. Join the waitlist and we'll let you know as soon as they're available.

You don't need one. Blümi is built so anyone navigating pregnancy can use it on their own. You can share the plan you create with whatever care team supports you, whether that's a doula, midwife, OB, or all three.

We recommend starting around 28–32 weeks. That gives you enough time to explore your options thoughtfully and have meaningful conversations with your care team, with room to update as your pregnancy evolves. It's also never too late. Even a plan created close to your due date is better than none at all.

Birth is unpredictable, and that's okay. A birth plan isn't about controlling what happens, it's about knowing yourself well enough to navigate whatever does. Even when plans change, you'll still know:

• That your care team already understands your wishes

Yes. Blümi is built for every birth setting, whether that's a hospital, birth centre, or home. Your values and preferences matter regardless of where you give birth, and Blümi helps you articulate them clearly so your care team knows exactly how to support you.

Yes, and you're not alone in asking. Blümi won't erase what happened before. But it can help you reclaim your voice for this birth, giving you the information, language, and space to communicate what you need, what you're worried about, and what matters most to you this time. We also gently encourage anyone navigating birth trauma to seek support from a trained professional alongside Blümi.

Yes. Your birth plan is yours to update whenever you need to. As your pregnancy evolves, conversations with your care team happen, or your preferences change, you can come back and revise it. Progress is saved automatically so you can always pick up where you left off.

Once your plan is complete, you can export it as a beautifully formatted PDF and share it directly with your care team by email, print, or however works best for your provider.

Providers get access to a dedicated portal where you can manage your client list, review birth plans, and communicate with families. Clients you add can build their plans within your practice's Blümi space, and you'll be notified when their plan is ready to review.

Yes. Our Practice and Collective tiers support multi-provider teams under one account. Each provider gets their own login and PIN, and an Admin role can manage the team and handle unassigned clients.

Archiving a client immediately frees up their slot, so your plan count always reflects your active caseload. Archived clients and their plans are still accessible in your records.

You'll receive notifications through the portal when clients complete or update their plans. We're continuing to build out the communication tools based on provider feedback.

The individual plan includes full access to the guided birth plan builder, evidence-based content at every step, and PDF export. It's a one-time purchase with no subscription required. See the Pricing page for full details.

Provider plans are named Bud, Sprout, Petal, and Bloom, each supporting a growing number of active clients. All tiers include the full portal experience; higher tiers unlock more client slots and team features. Compare them on the Pricing page.

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

Access to evidence-based birth support matters regardless of budget. We're working on a community access program. Reach out to us directly and we'll do our best to find a solution that works for your practice.

Only you, and anyone you choose to share it with. Your birth plan is never visible to providers or anyone else unless you actively share it. You're always in control.

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We take the security of sensitive health information seriously and follow industry-standard practices to protect it.

Blümi is designed with compliance in mind. We're actively working through the formal compliance process for both HIPAA and PIPEDA as we expand. If you have specific compliance requirements for your practice, reach out and we'll walk you through where things stand.

Yes. You can request full deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. Contact us and we'll process your request promptly.
